I'd been wondering if the body would fit on the Playmobil chassis rather then transferring bogies but the Playmobil chassis is 4 inches wide.

The Playmobil chassis is 25 1/2 cm long (buffer beam to buffer beam) and 10 1/2 cm wide.
The Bachmann TTE Brake Van is 29 cm long (beam to beam) and the chassis and body is 9cm wide. The Brake Van body is 17 3/4 cm long.
