New Garden New Railway.

I use Pix-Resizer, it's free but be aware that it may try to download other apps that you might not want. Simply untick the box.

In there you can set the required size and it will then reduce everything you put through to the same size, first time, every time.

But try posting a picture 'as is' first.. - I can post native from the (admittedly ancient) camera I am using..

Is there a picture kB shrinking program easily obtainable? I am a bit of a techno phobe as you may have guessed.
You using a PC or an iPad? If iPad an app called Reduce is what I have been using but do not need to now that the forum has upped the pic size. I find now that any that fail when grabbed from the net I just edit out all the extraneous stuff on the pic in the Photo Editor on the iPad and the size is magically turned into the correct (or usable) one. As for the app there are dizens available many for free, I am sure that you could find something si ilar if you are using your PC.

I just came across this thread and enjoyed the posts about the name.

Out of interest is "Bath Spa" tautology?

Sarah Winfield
Bath Spa is the rail station in the city of Bath

Well Planning permission has been granted the area is between the corner small trees approximately 6 mt sq with a storage shed for rolling stock behind the temporary blockwork at the back. I have ordered 400 Bricks to build a dwarf wall 18” approx. inside and out.
The Bridge is from the previous incarnation so I am hoping to use it again this time.

If it were me, I'd use garden decking boards. You can get them 19 to 27mm thick. Pressure treated and designed to be outdoors for years and year. Also easy to cut and work with.

a good point Fireman.... but part of the planning permision is for it to be inkeeping with the garden and to have plants growing to intergate the trains into everything so there may be a bit of descreat decking but i dont want it to look if its just running on stilts.

So attach a lattice along the sides from trackbed to ground and grow climbers up?
Clematis, ivy, sweetpeas, climbing roses?
Soon cover the 'stilts' and it would look like a banking.

Or build your dwarf wall and attach the boards along the top?

I think part will be boards covered in roofing felt and part will be thermolite block as discussed in another thread. I am still contemplating single or double track so I think space will be allocated for either option.
