New Guy Here from Upper Michigan

Thanks for the suggestion.... I'm not at home right now, and have been way from home for a little bit (my wife had a joint replacement out of town). I'lll be getting in late tonight and have a chance to measure the space I have. I'm definitely concerned about the diameter of the circle. 30" sounds doable for sure, the 51" or 52" seems like it might be the deal breaker.
I'll take a look at your suggestion,
Thanks
Ed

I just did a quick search on Ebay. I found one possible listing, but I am waiting to hear from the seller if it is indeed the tight radius track.

My LGB Christmas train set showed up today at my doorstep...
I made a roadbed from 3/4 inch plywood, didn't take too long to build. Need to fasten, I'm thinking 3 sections together, & one 2 section of roadbed, 14 sections total. I'll round over the inner & outer edges of the plywood, and Shellac the roadbed. Not sure if I want a colored roadbed so I'll do a Shellac & can paint over it if my taste changes or my wife's...........
I'll maybe tape all the sections together on the underside, but that's subject to change.
I waited until I had the track before I made the roadbed, it took almost 1/2 sheet of plywood, the sections are approximately 14 1/2 inches long x 6 inches wide.
I hope to have the train running around the Christmas tree by late this weekend......
