Four new wagons for the CFR. The two hoppers have been painted into the PWay department livery, the other hopper has been painted in the United Stone Company livery.

Like the rust effect on the hopper how was it done?

I use rust powder, wood glue and vinegar. First I apply the glue to the area that I want to rust. I allow it to get tacky then sprinkle the powder onto the glue. After about an hour I soak the powder with vinegar. This sets the rusting process off. The rusting process takes about twelve hours, however every time the wagons get wet the rust carries on.
