it looks like Phoenix sound has now gone completely. They had problems a while back but seemed to have recovered but their mailbox was not being answered and now the website is down.
Their soundboards were second to none. They were also DCC compatible since the venerable 2K2.
Another manufacturer for our hobby hits the skids, or retires.
Just as I was going to download some of the sound files to update a couple of my cards!!
Ain’t it always the same…

That is sad..

What were you after, and what version do you already have?

I might have a copy here.

Hi again Phil
Well, I use Macs and use a prog called 'Parallels' to emulate PC Windows. I use this emulation to run programs like Windows versions of ESU's DCC/sound board programmer 'LokProgrammer' and Phoenix Sound programmer etc.

I opened up the emulator (I haven't used it for yonks) and it could find the Phoenix docs and Programmer prog but not the rom files.
It appears that, as I have updated my Mac os and also changed all hard drives to SSD, I had changed the path for the stored files for the emulated Windows programs.

I have done a deep search, changed back the path and now I have found every rom file that Phoenix had..... BUT I am not sure that they are all good to go as they may have been corrupted during all of the jiggery-pokery.
I shall connect up the Phoenix programmer tomorrow and see if it works and also see if the files are intact...if not I may still need your files :D

Do you have the programmer?

Without this, the files will not be any good to you.

You need the programming dongle as well as the software to program the sound boards
