Piko 62002 auto door closer

Anyone have experience installing the auto door closer for the Piko Sonneberg shed. I feel like I’m missing something. Looking at it I can’t tell how it works. Is there a motor and wire?

Purely mechanical..
You drive out and the loco pushes the doors open.
When you return, you drive in and the mechanism closes the doors.

That sounds like an open and shut case to me.

I've never come across a Piko door closer - seen plenty of these
