Piko Diesel Locomotive V60 any pit falls?

Hi, I've just bought a Piko V60 Diesel from a toy fair (Reebok, Barry Potter Fair). Loco is new/unused and in mint condition. Box is stressed condition. Purchase price £135.
My question is ,"How good is this loco and is there any obvious or even major pitt falls with it. I will be using it with an analogue system and for starters R1 radious track?"

Helped to fix Mole's earlier this year as the quartering was out on one of the axles. Ran nicely one it was sorted.

The chassis is articulated, so it goes around R1 okay....

They're great little locos, and at the price I think you got yourself a real bargain there! To my mind that's the nicest of the several colour schemes they've done it in, too. The chassis is articulated so should have no trouble with R1s.
