Plea for Bachmann Shay cylinder assembly part

Hi all
I was having an old two truck 38 ton shay trundle around the layout for a few hours the other day and suddenly it locked and just came to a halt. On inspection the cylinder assembly had locked because a small piece had come adrift.

This part is like a small rectangle with a curved sector bitten out of it and secures the cylinder shafts to the cam (please see picture).
The part is the same for all shays including the newer 55-ton 3 truck variety

I have contacted Bachmann in USA but no joy besides buying a whole cylinder assembly!

Does any one have a beaten up, old, non-working shay that the part could be extracted from?

It is metal and not so easy to fabricate Ross as there is a very, very, very small screw (smaller than it looks in the picture!) that attaches the part to the shaft.
It is way beyond my skills so that's why I am hoping that someone will have a 'crock' shay...............

The plea has been answered.
A very kind gent on another forum is sending over 3 pieces (just in case) from USA. What lovely kind fellows are to be found out there!

Also Bachmann UK have an old shay, which they cannibalise for parts, that will donate one, just to make sure that the parts are actually the same for all the cylinders. Another kind jesture indeed.

This is a well pleased man whose very old shay will be able to carry on in service and not end up as a 'weathered wreck' at the bottom of my new overpass loop!......but it has given me the idea to put something else down there!

Parts have been received from a member of the other forum and also from Bachmann UK.
What a great response and my old shay is back to fine form just eating up the rails.
