Polystyrene castle

Not railway related but fun to build. My daughter and I created a castle for homework out of polystyrene covered in plaster and then sprayed with stone effect paint.

Added in some 10mm Normans for effect.

Marvellous (and definitely railway related)

Great stuff....are the Maltesers the cannon balls!!!!

Excellent. Looks great.

When you said 'polystyrene Castle', I had visions of a new GWR 4-6-0......

Super job. Do we know know how the spray stuff lasts outside, the expanded poly is super in the Garden. I ave a building that was made circa 1990 that is still perfect. I did cover it with external grade Tile Adhesive. Possibly another option here.

Really excellent. It is lovely to do projects with kids.
The castle would certainly not look out of place on a Brit layout...it could even have some 'aging' done to it to simulate a present day National Trust ruin..... an excuse to also have a cafe building, outside tables etc etc and a little museum.

Well done that couple!
