Thanks all for the opinions. as you say c£15 for 4 axles isn't too bad but the increased University fees are going to dent my modelling spend for a few years!

I know that the Bachman ones are steel axles with plastic sleevestrammayo said:I have just looked at the Lilliput wheels versus the Bachmann. As they both share a common parentage why is one superior to the other?

My approach and sentiments, Garry. The difficulty I have is finding spoked metal wheels which will run through LGB pointwork.garrymartin said::holdon: I must say that I have been gradually replacing my plastic wheels with metal ones of the appropriate daimeter . Gradually being the word , plastic wheels whilst not as nice as the metal type are not the ultimate evil ! :holdon:
