Replacing wooden Viaduct

Yep , 100% correct Pauly as Mell told me when i made it dont use wood it will rot , i did and it did :(

Total re biuld is in process :D

so is it just that little sticky out bit that needs replacing or is that whole section of the track bed compromised now?

funandtrains - 14/11/2009 9:22 PM For those people who want stone coursing without the effort of scoring every section if you make the mold from WBP plywood and glue on string for coursing you can then reuse the mold. The easiest way to glue the string on is to cut the string to length then have a small bowl of exterior grade wood glue diluted a little with water which you dip the string in. After the glue is dry paint over the mold with 2 or 3 coats of varnish or paint to seal everything and make the mold easier to remove.

Done a bit more on me Viaduct rebuild today, Decided as i want it to be part od the dock the arches may be blocked up

Wood cut to size and scored to try to make it look like planking
 
Door painted and latches fitted
 
Drain pipe fittings drilled and fitted to viaduct :D
 
Not happy going to change it , make a small door within the wood just off center, o well we live and learn. :D
 
Then a little light relief :D :D
