Rio Grande Narrow gauge?s New Premier Tourist Train

Well it’s been a long wait for the management, but at last the workshop has delivered the re-painted Alco and the last 3 vehicles for the premier tourist train.


As with the rest of the consist they are all Ex RhB, re-gauged, re-painted and refurbished.


409: Short Baggage car – for premier class passengers.

412: Premier class Dining Car/Kitchen Stores.

414: Premier class Sleeping Car.


The Video is of the first complete consist test run.

410 Standard class baggage/generator car.

404 Standard class car.

407 Standard class car.

I have just re-read the whole thread: Sorry i didn't get around to taking a close up of the rear lights. Will do that next time i'm out there.

The table and lights are from the interior of the sleeping car, when i stripped out the RhB restaurant coach!

Do you have any 'build' pictures? - it would make an interesting thread in the relevant section.

I also think you are very brave to have done this..

I am right the 'regauging' is part of the back-story.. (metre gauge to US standard gauge) and that they are still on 45mm track?
 
The back story is correct, but metre to 3ft narrow gauge. I didn't take many build pictures. Here are some pics and the rear lights.
