Ripmax? Tram kits

oooh I didn't know they did a double decker, and its a pretty standard open topper from the turn of the 20th century. 45mm @ 1:24 is 3'6" gauge and there were plenty of those. Burton and Ashby Light Railway anyone ?
Or even one of these........though you would have to chop it longditudinally as the Ipswich cars were only about 5'11" wide !!

There is a preserved Burton & Ashby car somewhere in the USA, though I haven't been able to ascertain its fate. It was used on the Detroit heritage tram line up to the early 2000's (I rode on it in 2001), but since the closure of that line, nothing has been heard about it.

I have a 1:24 wooden steam launch kit in my wardrobe. Its daunting!!!

If you have the patience they are a worthwhile (long term) project.
This one runs one runs on USA trains block. The motorising kit available seems expensive to me.

Yours came out really well.
Is the lettering provided as a set of transfers to apply over the painted finish or a printed sheet to stick straight over the wood?

They are a printed sheet which is glued on then varnished over.

Wow, that looks excellent! Swmbo obeyed has said that I may be allowed one for my birthday, so fingers crossed :D
