I have the LGB produced trams, both have the same product numbers, 23355, but the new Hungarian version has a bow collector, as opposed to the earlier Nurnberg LGB version, with red pantograph. Alyn

For a rare non-catalogued version, the Mannner Austrian Biscuit version, in pink, white, and blue!!!:o: (pic 1)This was produced after LGB went belly-up. (pic 2) The box ends, one the short run LGB Nurnberg version with red pantograph, the other the Hungarian bow collector version. Alyn

I think in the days of uncertainty it was a case of fitting what was in stock without buying in. The Manner tram was advertised with a bow & the picture on the box showed it as such. However what was in the box was a red pan collector.

There have been a few instances of strange use of existing cataloge numbers!

In the early days when the Crocodile was released it was given the cat no. 2040 there was an early Stainz which had 2040 also.

I have a SR &RL Forney 20251, there is also a Pensylvania liveried version with the same number ( theres one currently on eBaY)

>>>>>>>i HAVE actually just learned the Pennsy version came from a set with the loco referred to as 20251.1, maybe that explains it!!

Hi Steve, yes the Pensy set is in the LGB 2006 book/cat, came with a box car and a combine, two versions, one 120v and second a 220v version. Trust your well. Alyn

But the picture in Depesche shows a bow. I guess it was what was in the empty stores.

LGB, only did one run of the Manner tram (Austrian biscuit firm) after the plant had gone phut!!(Sept 2006 time of production run) never listed in any catalogue. Many years ago LGB did a couple of runs of the tram and trailer in red and white, with yellow coach lines, but with small adverts for the Austrian market. Alyn
