Service interruptions on the tramway....

tramcar trev

all manner of mechanical apparatus...
The Per Way Crew will be working at Hard Place and services will be interrupted.

It seems that a pole has been placed too close to the track; just enough so that passing trams have managed to break the hoods of the colour light staff….

Should be an interesting task, maybe I should make a feature of the work e.g. lay the pole down in the park and leave a little pile of pavers there with a red kero lantern on top of it and perhaps a “pitch kettle” to the side with a flickering red led (I have to find a legit use for the 500 flickering red leds I bought) coming from the fire underneath it. Then I could justify the hole that moving the pole will create….

Of course all the span wires will have to be replaced and the joiner also has to be replaced as it doesn’t cope with the new wider trolley wheels. I have made a copy of a Hong Kong style joiner from photos taken in Hong Kong…… Its never ending; of course all caused by my radical approach to empirical design, nothing to do with the Empire see: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/empirical It’s a great word to use when you stuff something up “oh well see it’s empirically designed” If Maxwell Smart had done it he would have "missed it by that much"....

Now, if it had been a Bundy clock you could have blamed a passing driver !
Keep up the empirical stuff....

Ohhhh hell yes! I knew I had forgotten something, A bundy clock at the terminus....
