Bit late with this this year, in truth the early pre xmas signs were a bit late with my Snowdrops not showing flower till well into January. So a couple of pics from last weekend at North Elmham showing the superb display of Aconites and Snowdrops in the woods. Jazmine my friends Goldie just gets into the last picture.IMG_7796.jpegIMG_7797.jpegIMG_7795.jpeg

Tips of bluebells pushing through 'ere in 'erts last weekend, and even further on yesterday. I will be sporting a gehinen Bedr* (St David’s leek: a daffodil) from the garden today. Mind you, it needed a night indoors to open...

*The native Welsh daffodil is all-yellow, so I'm taking a liberty, wearing this one!

The Wild garlic creating a carpet of green in the woods on Wenlock edge near us, snow drops been quite spectacular and prolonged this year, spring has sprung.

Priory Park near me has lots of Daffs that come into flower around now, but with Snowdrops being later than normal both are in full bloom today. Though the second shot shows lots of ‘blind’ daffs, kids tend to pick em n chuck em around which can stop flowering the next year. Fortunately the Snowdrops being smaller tend to not suffer such attention.
