Thanks Max I will test loco batteries as they are "originals" and definitely try the o ring oil tip. I can certainly fine regulate the gas on ladyAnn so it is worth a try. I haven't tried the safety valve in lady ann in Katie. If they are exchangeable that might confirm issues over its setting.
