Cyril, just had a similar situation with my TE (I blamed you 
). I was running trains, all was fine. I swapped loco's and ..... nothing. No loco control at all (although the points still operated). Put new batteries in the handset, still nothing, cursed Cyril. Climbed on the workbench to check the receiver, power light (red) and signal light (green) on, cursed Cyril again. Took the red 10amp fuse out, didn't appear to be blown, but changed it anyway ....... et voula!! All working again.
