The CBR Line is Born..

Lovely line. Nice dogs. Pity the line has to move given it is so established.

Decided to finish printing the Bridge still more to print but getting there , no mater where it ends up I will just have to design a gap to suit it :)

Paul, thanks for posting the picture, I tried but was having problems, I also tried posting the Web address but that wasn't playing either!
Philip, see above! :giggle::giggle::giggle:

Today fitted a pulse generator to my LGB 28001, then stripped the rest and removed the original LGB board from it. Then a quick test of it's new smoker , the wiring is all temp, next bit is to work out how to mount the smoke unit in the boiler, I can see the 3D printer making a better connection tube between the top of the pulsed smoker and the original LGB stack as I don't really want to cut the stack about. and trying to push the tube down the stack and lock it back on is impossible.

As it's pouring down spent the morning drawing up and printing bits to assemble my Pulsed smoker into the Boiler. Printed a mount for the decoder and a spacer for the smoker so there is a space between the Lead weight and the fan unit, only running it will tell if the air gap is big enough for it to get enough air.
then printed a tube that joins the original LGB stack to the smoker top ring, instead of trying to use bits of plastic tubing, odd that the black bit that sits on top of the boiler is not joined to it just pushes into it.

Smoker now screwed down to the Lead weight, so it can't move any where, the printed tube then joins the original stack to the Smoker.

And it Fits o_O ... The LGB stack pushes into the boiler from the top and over the tube I printed, then it turns and has locking taps on it , so as you push it in and turn it to lock it in place it closes the gap between the smoker and the bottom of the stack so in theory it should not leak :sweating:

Now need to cut a bit of the Lead weight away at the front only to allow the cylinder smoke tubes to fit. I also need to find some new plug together connectors to join all the front lights back to the decoder as they have too be joined at the front of the boiler after it's all been assembled.

Now I have some ABS filament again I decided while working that the printer could make me some missing bits from my fence, the angle platform at the end now has the fence finished health and safety :rofl: just need to do a few more now, I want / need some more lamp posts to match the others how hard can it be to print the Playmobil ones :D

Finished all the station platform fencing at Calluna, Dam this smoke generator uses fluid faster that I vape :eek: it going to cost a bottle or two of juice a month to run o_O

The Lyons Cakes sign is printed, as there were one or two early advertising signs that were just a name and a plain color :)

You certainly appear to have got to grips with the 3D Printing game, wish I had the guts to have a go. Have a friend locally that has one and I have a need for some signs. Mine are a bit different but 3D will I am sure how to cope with them. Gradient Posts on the Harz Narrow Gauge Lines are Thin Metal ones that looks like someone has shot the Text in with a Gun IE all done with Holes. Odd and very different.
