Hi Gavin and all, yes, it is true: I'm selling up all my G-Scale stuff. A few things happened here beyond our control and we have decided to move to Thailand near my wife's family. While we have lots of space there I just could not see myself building a model railway outside in the heat and humidity. Plus there is just nothing available, nor is there any sort of community there.
The sad thing is that after the few years that I have been building here on my own now that my stuff is advertised on Trademe the local G-Scalers are appearing out of the wood work. Even sadder: the guy who bought all the groovy track is going to use the alu for some kind of diorama, so all the work that went into making all of this will be wasted.
I just want to say that it's been a privilege and a pleasure to have spent time in this community and I may pop in from time to time to see what you are all up to. Until then: have fun with your trains!
