Today At The Cfr.

What is the procedure when it is time to uncouple the rolling stock? Insert a blade of some sort between the couplings and twist? Hand of God grab each and yank them apart? The pulling capacity certainly seems adequate.
Ken, I use a plastic pole made by Kadee . I insert it between the couplers and twist. The magnets are strong but on two occasions when there has been a derailment the couplers have parted and the locomotive has continued running.

Is that their #241 Dual Tool - manual uncoupling tool & built in spring pic?

Good news from the CFR.
The storage shed has finally been removed and the open area is now available for the proposed extension:-

Looks nice and open now, what have you done with all the stuff stored in their? I appear to remember many boxes of wagons.

Wow!
That has opened things up. A whole new vista, but it will be strange it not being there.

Might you be able to extend the underground line? ;)

PhilP
Phil, the extension plans have a circuit of 45mm track plus sidings station and engine shed and firing up area. And another inner circuit of 32mm track with a firing up area. The 45mm circuit will be connected to the original layout by two bridges.
