TracK Cleaner has died - Help wanted

Oh Dear

My track cleaner (Marklin Made in Hungary!!) has died while track cleaning.

Cannot find diagrams for internals on LGB product databank.

Can anybody provide detail of how to dismantle these things and if there is anything I should look out for.

Well if you just want the basics without any lights this circuit will work.
The one diode in the cleaning motor circuit permits operation in only one direction of travel and the number of diodes in the chain for the other motor is chosen to give the appropriate forward speed when cleaning, a bit like the speed control knob, but with just one fixed setting.
