1:22.5 & 15mm Scale Trams, , NG Steam Railways
I am not touting for business, well sorta not.
A friend who isn't too bad with 3D CAD and printing has been asked if he could draw a few parts in 1:22.5 scale primarily to match the Bachmann tram scale, he hasn't done it for me yet, however I am led to believe he can print a Bachmann tram sized body on his resin printer, not the whole tram just the main body.
To help give some encouragement for him to draw things for me I thought I'd drop a couple pictures purloined from the internet Art Nouveau sidecar 336 in Nuremberg and NFS 204 07.05.06 Humboldtstrasse to get an idea of others interest, these wouldn't be kits, body sides would be printed with the roof, bulk heads may or may not be printed separately, driving platforms would almost definitely be printed separately because they dunnae for the printer if printed with the bodies.
I've also suggested I'd like a couple of the Porto trams.
He is not taking orders, I was just wondering what from what I've suggested other people might be interested in to gauge the level of interest and the level of persuasion their might be for said colleague to draw things up, thanks.
To give folks an idea of specials he has drawn so far, here is an Edinburgh low height 8ft truck side
which is rather nice, I'll hopefully have a pair of these in hand Tuesday evening. Yes I know Edinburgh was and is standard gauge, but its my tramway with stock the way I'd like to run it.
