go on, it's looking fine.
are you going to put trestles under the whole line on the other shore?
do the upper sections of the trestles all have the same dimensions?

not the straight section on the farside i am working on at the moment just where the bridges meet the shore.all the upper sections have the same demensions

Aint It great when a plan comes together:thumbup:

Nice

Brilliant work Nico finishes the bridge off really well

I agree Steve.
This thread has been just the ticket for me as I will be totally redeveloping the Arrowhead area of my layout and want to get a real trestle (I have a couple of only about 6 - 8 inches high) in somehow. The work that Nico has done together with the photos that Richie posted and the great info great links that others have put up have persuaded me to go ahead. Many thanks Nico...a great job!

Hi Mr Spock

My trestle was built several years back now was made from strips of 10mm & 5mm hard wood from my local hardware store some bits were soft like balsa wood gets a coat of creosote most years the green is natural weathering , to date i haven't had to replace any wood yet .

Few more close up's
