Two new buildings on the Elmleigh Light Railway

Over the last couple of weeks I have acquired 2 new buildings for the Elmleigh Light Railway.

Firstly a kit from T&M Models of an Engine shed. This was a really well made kit and it was easy to put together. A fantastic product at a great price. Mike Cullen is a top supplier

Secondly a DKL shop named after my employer! David from DKL provides ready made and painted buildings to your choice of design. I wanted a WHSmith & Son store as I had sold the loco that I had bought with my 25 years service award. I did want something to comemorate/comiserate the occasion. Mind you I'm at 32 years service now! The shop is cast to a really high standard with a great paint job. I've installed solar powered leds in both buildings.

As an aside my Regner has gone back to Martin's Models for investigation and repair of its gear problem.

Nice. I've always like the TM stuff. Got one of their Station buildings and the pub/hotel. Really crisp mouldings and they go together with minimal fuss.
