I have the cable/plugs available but the USPS First Class Parcel International would probably cost you about $20.
When converting customers' LGB locomotives to DCC, I always remove all the old factory electronics and install a new DCC sound decoder. Much cleaner and simpler than trying to use the locomotive's DCC Interface to install a DCC decoder. I think you'll find it much easier than how your trying to do it and won't take 10 months! You might have to also change the factory speaker since many of the factory speakers do not meet the spec requirements for new DCC decoders, i.e., they are rated less than 1 amp.........for Massoth, ESU and Soundtraxx DCC sound decoder I install, the speakers must be at least 1 amp. But the quality of your locomotive's sound will be much improved with a new speaker.
