Varying gauge length required

Watched Tarrent in Spain the other day, and the new high speed train does not have axles, apparently to have more stability on uneven track, however later in the programme, it showed the train being re-gauged from standard to Iberian at 15 kph, so this is one way forward for the varying gauges!!

But it would mean altering the track layout shown as the testing ground.

Without participation and more description of what the limits of the "Design Challenge" are from the original poster, it's pretty much open season for thread drift.

Apparently starting in 2014, more people in Spain used trains than planes... yay!
