Which loco has pride of place on your mantelpiece/sideboard ?

It would have to be my Roundhouse Lady Anne, Katie & Billy named after my wife & daughters respectively but they are shut away in a cupboard. The nearest thing on display is a picture of myself about to drive a Black 5, 45305.

Loving the 2-10-2 Alan !!

Apart from the twenty-two trams, all IIm, and mostly LGB, plus a few LGB locos that I have acquired over forty years of large scale railways, my live steam, 1/10th scale Showman's Traction Engine and working 89 key fairground organ(built in MP3 and amp/speakers), has pride of place. Alyn

Oil fired central heating so no mantlepiece :crying:
All the G is in da shed, however there is a bookshelf which contains a Wrenn City of Stoke-on-Trent (yup, another one), several of the coal/resin locos bought by my parents, a pewter 0-4-0 shunter of no particular origin (unless the name 'Berg' means something to somebody), a solid silver loco on a keyring for which the mould was obviously taken from the Märklin Z BR89 and a Thomas the tank engine Wedgwood plate which belongs to my daughter. There is also a boxed Crich tramways anniversary model in there too. Even some books :rolf:

Bachmann Connie, Bachmann Shay and SD45 on display in the hall.
The Connie because I like it and the box is very big, the SD45 because it doesn't have a box and the Shay because it is a talking point, and it is wonderful.

Not a mantlepiece but still in the living room. My K-27 with its train ready to go on the newly "scenicified" indoor set-up/steam-up area. The great outdoors awaits.

None of 'em - they're all in the garage :-:-:-
Well said that man!!

Mine too, but for a few days the brand new Roundhouse Charles is allowed to sit on a plinth.
Don't know about after today's open day...
And once he's as grimy and worked as the others...
