A 13 year old railway

I'm not sure about the black version, but the maroon one released very shortly after the orange HSB version definitely had a NARROWER hood than the orange one - with the orange model you could install a 40mm speaker across the inside of the hood directly behind the grille (and there were slots in the moulding for exactly this purpose), but with the maroon version the speaker had to be put in at an odd angle because the internal width was less.....

Considering its the same mould they look surprisingly different, black radiator looks wider than the orange one

Great photo

Thanks Frank.
The radiators are exactly the same size, but you can see that the lights are more widely spaced on the black version. The lights are also slightly smaller and of a different moulding and fitted with "cree" bulbs which can shine both red and white dependent on travel direction.
The black Marlkin version is more sophisticated in terms of lighting and decoder than the pre 2011 model.

Thank you for your kind comments
Here it is Hal.............
This is as it was in 2012.
Purgstall station was created a couple of years ago around the bottom passing loop - see picture for track layout.

Looks like you need an updated Track Plan, Purgstall has indeed changed to loop somewhat. Glad to see that your line is still evolving.

Thank you kindly Gents
Those pics were taken with an iPhone 6 on a small aluminium tripod, flash switched off.

The moss gives it a wonderful worn look.
