A 13 year old railway

Great pictures Paul, I missed looking at them while I have been away playing with Lionel trains indoors. I have begun working on my outdoor layout again, bringing in buildings that need repair and I put a LGB 2015D in layaway at the LHS as the line lacks any motive power. Hopefully a U series or a Stainz will come in later this year at the shop. I know he has a couple collections coming soon. Keep the great pics coming! Mike

We need some photos of your Lionel empire.....:)

Thanks Mike. Good to hear of your progress indoors and out. The Sachsen IIK had a run out tonight.

A few more night shots after a few weeks of wet weather. It's great to focus the mind on running trains.
Oh so true Paul. Lovely night shots by the way :-)

image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg A full on running session this afternoon. The list of roundtuit jobs is growing.
Patches of reballsating
New signs for Putgstall station building.
Take the bow out of the campy at Linz station building
Reconnect one number point motor after clumsy oaf walking on track hit a wire (me).
Anyway a few picks.
Mossy time.

Inspirational stuff ! I have been away from things garden railway for a few months but looking at the pictures of your railway has made me resolve to get back out into the garden ASAP and start putting my line to rights.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. I think the Postcrete ballast goes a long way toward promoting a realistic look. The smoke effects too when the wind is calmer.

I used postcrete on my new line. Holding up well so far, and Flopsey proof!

Not seen this thread before, must study tonight when I get home, some amazing photography and what looks a cracking railway.
