The Schwein-schnauzer bus has a run on the railway via the border link with Germany.
Meantime one of the U Class hauls a log train out of Linz and Wieselburg shed sees another German loco in the form of a Köf Shunter back into the shed for the evening while the Stainz class loco prepares to traverse the line up to Gstadt.

By the time I had given the back hedge a trim and fitted sound to the red/cream 2091 diesel it was dark. But I had to test it didn't I ?

Some more shots from Wieselburg and Purgstall. Stainz on mixed goods and the Mh6 on a rake of 4 Mariazellerbahn coaches - a prototypical train.

The last shot shows the all three Epoch IV Austrian diesels.

The Rugens diesel loco V51 appears in two liveries on my railway - one as the Rugens lok, the other as it ran on the Stmlb in the seventies for around 11 years or so.
Here they both are on duty this afternoon

Yes Alan. Problem is there are a lot more leaves yet to drop so cleaning them off the layout is futile for a week or two.
