Nemo's picture shows the black socket empty whilst the loco in doubt shows that socket "loaded"..............or is that socket for something else???

This is correct, the black 4 pin plug goes to the switch in the cab, its unplugged so that I can completely remove the body/
Me personally, I'd have persevered with it and got it sorted, it couldn't have been too difficult as the electrics are basic inside and with the help on here you know your not working on your own.
