The bridge looks cool; is it removable I guess? In your shoes I'd be tempted to rebuild the steps a foot or so towards the patio so you can avoid the bridge at the top, and bed the track more directly into the step; avoiding the need to add & remove the bridge, and step over it.

Hi Mike, yes it's two of the curved Piko points leading into the station. They've been modified by fitting the LGB sprung point switches so they spring back to the set direction if you run backwards through them.

The bridge is removable as we have a second set of steps into the garden so it's not a problem. It's also low enough to step over but I wanted a bridge on this layout.
 
Very nice, what is the Station Building of? Looks much like Mägdesprung but bits the wrong way round.

I don't know what make it is. It was given to a friend of mine who donated it to my garden. It's in need of some TLC with broken and missing parts but I'm hoping to repair it this summer.
