built the last full basebord. only 1/2s to do now... fitted a new piko point in ther to be station area..
and startred to unroll me grass!!:D

grass cut to sizes, that are managable to me..

its down to bad manufactur, lose joints, holes not drilled deeply enough
fixed by adding a spaceing washers .. both failed in the same spot, on the throw, in the throat..

It's more than a bit annoying when reputable manufacturers can't get it right. We seem to suffer more in this scale, probably due to the low volume market.

Look on the bright side - at least it's fixable, which the LGB R3 check rail problem isn't.

And you still get more points for your money - even if they're part DIY :laugh:
 
possably not, with the wires inside shorting out, melting plastic sleaveing, iffy build quality..
any how.. today i painted all the wood, fitteds the wrush matting, and to top it off..
fitted the LAZY GRANGE BAY 3 sign..
and got some quality testing in
