Lazy Grange Bay 3...a new start

I love that water effect! Looks an amazing railway.

not looked at this for a while - the modelling is superb as ever, particularly like the canal details

Thank you for your kind words..
The viaduct is 7 arches long.. So 7ft..
Been a while but then there was a show to do.. Now working on painting.. 47 panels of brickwork, roughly 1000 bricks each... Hand painted... Details of the interior are office, entrance. Loading bay ect... Lighting to be sorted but it will be low key... Mike - I really like what you've done. Your canal and locks are are especially neat. A lot of things here to give inspiration.:clap::clap::clap::clap:

Well you can work out the rate of speed I pond on at... 1 brick at a time... As of today.. I think I'm 65%there.. After painting its wiring next., then the base... The side I'm working on will be up against the locks, so some window openings, will be bricked up...

Milestone today.. We got the building weatherproof, windows fitted and glass added... More work to do, lighting, and it's base needs building.. But.. Its passing the smile test IMG_20190616_111920.jpgIMG_20190616_154204.jpgIMG_20190617_142157.jpgIMG_20190618_113432.jpgIMG_20190618_140620.jpgIMG_20190618_140703.jpgIMG_20190618_140651_3.jpg

As the sun was out.. I managed to re jig the base.. Before... And afterIMG_20190618_140622.jpgIMG_20190619_150921.jpg

Temporary sub road surface laid today...

After a frustrating week decorating the stepson bedroom, I got a, day pass... So I made a start on the roadway... New roofing felt from B. & Q at£29.00 worth it, as its more realistic and hard wearing than the cheaper version.. IMG_20190628_111601.jpgIMG_20190628_090152_1.jpgIMG_20190628_111841.jpgIMG_20190628_121708.jpgIMG_20190628_130418.jpgIMG_20190628_134031.jpgIMG_20190628_190522.jpgIMG_20190628_190450.jpgIMG_20190628_190605.jpg

Fitting the roofing felt under the viaduct..
After that, it was relitivly easy to do the rest... The ramp down the road was fabricated asp..

We are a pondering the lighting...
While we do the pavement IMG_20190703_104715.jpgIMG_20190703_104725.jpgIMG_20190703_104742_1.jpgIMG_20190703_104627.jpgIMG_20190703_120625.jpg

Great stuff Mr D. No room for trolls in t'mill cellar, always full of skips and packing cases holding everything a mill needed to turn out the finished product, and don't forget the boiler house. The cellar was always a nightmare place for a young apprentice spark sent to sort out a fault or put an extra light in, sometimes had to move skips and cases for an hour just to get to where I needed to be. Five minutes later the spark would come round and bollock me for not having done "that simple job". Happy days!
PS, don't forget t'mill chimney!
