Lazy Grange Bay 3...a new start

I built a loading dock, as well, the need has always been here, the job just got waylaid while I sorted step sons flat out.. Anyhow, the building is straight forward enough. Corigated roof, surport Ed by pillers and a base, I had to re do the sidings, replace the buffered to give me more room.. And it's now sorted.. I think. And we did have a few vercials in for a refurbishment as well... Triang 4 wheeler, converted into a ocupuss 8 wheeler, like this a lot.. Very happy with it. Loads are a old Dyson motor armiture(genirator) IMG_20200405_151347.jpgIMG_20200405_151353.jpgIMG_20200405_151935.jpgIMG_20200405_151918.jpg

And we have started on more buildings .. As well as getting stuff in.. Luckerly, I guess I'm OK with this lock in,, as I spend a lot of time in my shedIMG_20200427_102642.jpgIMG_20200425_153830.jpgIMG_20200426_113706.jpgIMG_20200421_125205.jpgIMG_20200422_160247.jpg

You can heap as much praise on Mike as you like, there will never be any danger of him getting too big for his boots.

Facebook reminded me of 10 years ago.. When I 1st moved in after the divorce, and found somewhere to live, the second is, from 3 minutes ago.. From both ends...

And the building continues on the workshop.. Messed up on one end, so cut it off, and added a fresh bit of foamex, joint hidden by brick pillers IMG_20200427_120727.jpgIMG_20200427_123636.jpgIMG_20200430_154731.jpg

Meanwhile I got a bit of testing in.. IMG_20200503_143025.jpgIMG_20200503_142847.jpgIMG_20200503_142913.jpgIMG_20200503_142416.jpgIMG_20200503_142506.jpgIMG_20200503_142523.jpgIMG_20200503_142350.jpgIMG_20200503_142218.jpgIMG_20200503_142027.jpg

I don't think you've ever shown us how you built that church on the top of the hill, Mike :nerd::nerd::nerd:
I think that's a Pola N gauge kit to give the impression of distance Rhino. Probably against Mike's principles as not scratch built, but surely he must make some compromises - mustn't he?

Its from the early days of lazy Grange Bay 3, from Pendel Bury buildings, our own stockers, mell had 1 I belive, its a g scale resin building, the same as the village housing, if you rember, I started with pola, whent onto resin buildings, modifying them (the garage) and then started on foambord. I will take some better photos tommow..

I think the 'church' reference, went right over Mike's head? :giggle:

I might be wrong.. - I do not think you covered the build of the church?
But think he is referring to the one in the background of the third picture, in post #3,228?

Now, if you built THAT one, I would be impressed!:rofl::rofl:

It wasn't that one I was thinking about, I saw another one in the photos - it looks quite realistic ;) ;)

That's correct Phil. I hadn't spotted the one in P5 of post 3230. My reference to N gauge was relating to the use of smaller scales in the background to enhance perspective. Must get some new specs!!!

I'm good, not god..

It's ok.. My legs need pulling.. Might make them longer? IMG_20200503_203622.jpg
