Beautiful photos Mike. How do you keep your layout so clean?
 
hi dan,thanks.. its mostly self cleaning, the wind, rain ect .. plus im out every day running it,..so if i see a leaf i pick it up.. the track gets cleaned 5 times a year ..lgb track cleaning loco ..faults get fixed strightaway ie point blades ect ..
 
last few days have been ..er , moist to say the least .. but today i got a bit in ..pondering too

I've just sussed why the photos of your railway look so good mate (apart from the great modelling) - it's the fact that the natural back drop looks so convincing. The 2nd photo looking back from the signal box and the 8th at the platform, the background of the real roofs and the hill top is spot-on. You'd really struggle to get any sort of printed backscene to be that convincing. :thumbup::thumbup:
 
cheers mell, it was intended to use the natrual background as much as possable, not the fensces

snow protecton mell, not so much the snow, but when it frezzes and expands..simple plonk on covers made out off off cuts upvc bords,screwed together..

ta mick paul, chuggy.. they are fully fitted out, 2 toilet bowels ,flush pipes,cysterns chians ,ect, two sinks,taps., and urinals ect.. wooded stalls and loo rools are included..
DETAILS IN GARDEN RAIL..comming soon.. ,all scratch built, the sign /name plate being the only thing bought in..

I thought that was the case Mike - was just hoping you might have given a preview - my Garden Rail did arrive (eleven days late - but enjoyed reading it) so, by normal calculations only two weeks to go!
