cheers steve,, im struggliung with the srippy paint..:rolf::rolf::rolf::rolf:
the more oversent of you may notice thecopper wire wraped round the screwdriver.
ive no idea either

i use the screwdriver to scribe in the motor lines 1st.. then i draw in thebricks, with a pencil, and then scribe them in ..

dont for get the lintles, its easyer to draw in in penscil, and rub out any mistake,s rather than cock it up,and start again.,. drink brew, eat cake...
P1130921.jpg

yes the foam bord bewnds as we cut it, scribe it, but fear not.. there is more brews
and ways to skin a horse.,..see tesco..we will re inforce the inside off the exteria walls with more foam bord..later
the shop front, .. i left, when over.. thedoor way ,and the main shop window..i wanted the door way stood back, and a return on the window pillers..carefullly marking out now, saves
wastage,maistakes later
P1130922.jpg

one gable end wall will be completly covered in bricks.. the other, well, on mine, itsa ajoining wall... so think how you will be useing your buildings..
think, draw, scribe..

P1130930.jpg

carefull measureing, drawing out the mortor lines will now pay divadent, as the brick work will now match up round the corners ect..

there is no rush, i enjoy what i do, it soon start to take shap, and life,of its own.. a genral idea ,of what you hope to acheive, and a bit of thought, is genrally enough..the reast, well,
it just happens..because Fannys is A Chippy.. no back window, but it will have a large chimmy/flue
P1130936.jpg

now we can start to make internal strenghenrs and add floors, ceilings ect, we need to think carefully how we whish to light up ourchippy, and weather to have internal details ect, will up stairs light up?..not on mine, but the chippy..yes!
sxtrenghing the extanl walls by adding internal walls ect
P1130941.jpg

ok, i cheat.. i admit it.. i do things the easy way..
to get the ground floor, simply stand the building, on a sheet off foam bord.. mark round it
cut inside the lines, by 5mm..foam bords 3mm.. doh..
i will be haveing ,a low detail shop interuia, as i intend haveing the shop window,..steammy
like all chippys.. but the door works, so it can be open, closed, ect..and i like the idea
P1130943.jpg

test , fit off the shops inturia ..
P1130946.jpg

this was as far as i got in a week.. ok..no rush, no dramma, but fun, and im getting a bespoke building, for £40?
P1130948.jpg

it is a learning curve, for me, things ive done on Fannys Fish, ive evolved in to better ways on arkwrights..but you only learn, by haveing a go..still got most of my fingers,too..
mybespoke spray booth.. is my seat in the shed.. a large storage box..
cheapo £1 can gray prima.,is idea, for me, as the mortor colur, iremoved the windows ect

Well, if it's been stood there since 1920, it may have suffered a bit (I doubt many of them actually got erected in 1919)

Or it may have been midnight revellers, as happened in Haslemere a couple of years ago. Come to think of it, has that friar been behaving himself on the way back from t'pub?

its glued .. how long, i dont know.. but for now its back were it belongs ian
