Lever frame project

An excalent piece of work.

Trouble is with galvanising it will have to stripped back down into seperate components to stop them sticking together, also you have to allow for the thickness of the coating in your clearances.
Another issue is some types of galvernising are done as a hot process so this may melt to solder unless it is welded, not sure if the words have been lost in translation.

If the guys can do any metal with the laser cutter, why not make it from brass, it will be a little weaker but rust proof:thumbup:

But its still an wonderful piece of work

Well, this is what I have to figure out. I opted for mild steel because of the price. When I did my bridged I used stainless steel. But that is hard to solder.

Anyway, let see how this one goes. I was planning to have the frame galvanized and the levers. I will see if I need to take the pin out.

Brilliant, Csongor - an excellent piece of miniature engineering.
