Midlands Garden Rail Show 2025

Phil, Do you have plenty of 12v resisted LEDs and RC wiring looms in stock for the show ?............... and for the odd people that dont know as he never promotes himself ! RC Trains RC Trains - Accessories
Define 'plenty'?
The pre-wired LEDs have not been the greatest of sellers. - Money tied up sitting, so I have tended to make them up to order.
But I do have some stock, and can knock some up if I know people want them?
3mm or 5mm?
Red, Bright-White, or Warm-white?

Not on the webby-site, I am now carrying 5mm, 2-wire, Red/Warm-white bi-colour LEDs, and 3mm flickering (firebox) LEDs in Yellow, Orange, and Red.

I will have some standard looms, with 'PP3 snap' inputs, and also some with JST-RCY inputs. - The red connector, for made-up battery packs.
IF I have the time, I should have a 'drop-in' RC option for the Boot Lane Works kits.

The 36 hour days, are on back-order! :D

PhilP.
If anyone does want to pre-order for pickup, please get in touch ASAP.

I think I shall be making the trip on Saturday. ESU is on my mind, and a few other little bits that might be RC related. I have a little list. Max

Was pleasant to see how busy the event was today, picked up loads of nice electrical bits and bobs from RC trains (new RC conversion of my second GE 44 III now in the fleet), also picked up a nice aux sound unit from Gartenbahn supplies for £35 which they put together themselves (nice couple). Red boxes all very "highly" priced so nothing collected there, but did have my eye on a Piko Taurus on Elaines trains that was very cheap.

Only had your eye on it? - You're slacking!
:D

Nice to have put names to a couple of faces..
Not sure if it was how busy we were, but there are plenty of biscuits left for tomorrow.

haha, I would have squeezed the wallet for the Porsche Taurus as only £140, but I acquired a red one for £20 cheaper last week on ebay...Already got way too many bash projects on the go and not enough time ! (the taurus is being used as a base for another MOB loco idea I have).

Great to say Hi, Coventry Model engineers stand was really goo too, lots of 3d printing and laser cutting demos and chats.

If there are no pictures, it didn't happen
I hope there's some biscuits left for Stoneleigh, Chocolate Digestives too :wait:

We are back in Cambridge, having visited Casey at the CFR, and the Nene Valley Railway to catch a glimpse of Tornado and Flying Scotsman at Wansford.

It was a good day at the Midlands Garden Railway Show. Bumped into a few people, some who are on the forum. You know who you are!

My personal favourite was the East Midlands Group layout....
