Midlands Garden Rail Show 2025

Good evening, All!
We are knackered home, safe and sound..

Managed to get to get it all in the car. - Just!

We sold a lot, and the order book is looking daunting healthy, so I know what I will be doing for the next few weeks / months. :D

Nice to see some of you.. Fair exchanges were made, and I think might contribute to what we eat tonight?

Having managed to clear a few things from the the list of jobs, I have ended up with three more large boxes items, to be processed, and a bag of bits to have a discussion about..

But can't presently do anything, as I have Patch on my lap, and Twitch at my feet..

PhilP.

Got a message from my 32 year old nephew who lives in Bristol (but like me comes from leam and warwick) this morning showing me pictures of several layouts telling me about an exhibition he had been to sat afternoon unexpectedly !! ....."was that was the midland garden railway show that i went to in the morning" I said !! we had missed each other by 2 hours ! and he has now expressed an interest in Garden railways ! It rubs off eventually to the young ones... ! As a childless chap its great the legacy may continue ! he might be sent down a Stainz in the post ! (l like most have some to spare !) to see what he can do with it.....

We went Saturday, travelling down Friday afternoon, got a room in a hotel £47? Per night , cheap as chips , got to the show, and started annoying everyone one in turn , sorry Phil, but our meeting spot wasn't the best place to stop and chat ( gents) treated my self to the corgi carasell, not g scale, but damed nice ..
And a special birthday present was purchased from eain green( tony green steam )to my self , from my sell for later this month . Standards Darling, Standards!!!

Was pleasant to see how busy the event was today, picked up loads of nice electrical bits and bobs from RC trains (new RC conversion of my second GE 44 III now in the fleet), also picked up a nice aux sound unit from Gartenbahn supplies for £35 which they put together themselves (nice couple). Red boxes all very "highly" priced so nothing collected there, but did have my eye on a Piko Taurus on Elaines trains that was very cheap.
I was there on Sunday on my endless and fruitless quest for an LGB Zillertal passenger coach....like the type they run on the W & L.

Foiled again.

However, I WAS minded to treat myself to a 'Heidi' or 'Thusis' if I found one. I did, but they were the top end all-metal LGB models, at over £3500 each......if I HAD bought one, Mrs tac would quickly have changed the name to 'Nemesis'........

What’s the LGB item number for the coach?

Cheers
