My first garden railway

Amazing progress in a couple of months! Got to figure how to incorporate my shed into the layout. But first I have to clear the junk out of the garage so I can move the junk in the shed!

All you need is some fish ....:D

Possibly, due the slate chippings you have used a weed suppression?
Yes don't want to be constantly pulling up weeds so a liner was used
All joking aside it's not as blue as it looks, I will be planting more plants to brake it up, but as I know nothing about gardening I am struggling to know what to plant so any suggestions will be much appreciated :)

The new loco looks much better and more at home on your outdoor layout. Glad I could help.

Great pictures, perfect snow for showing off your new locos, nice and deep and white with the slanting sun's rays.

Adam, your garden railway looks great! Please don't let people's comments about the colour of the slate you have chosen put you off - 10+ years ago I chose plum coloured slate to act as a weed suppressant like you - it looked a little in-your-face at the time but mother nature's weathering process has worked it's magic and it blends in nicely now - alpine planting and small-leaved ground cover plants will help.

Looks brilliant thanks for sharing

Finally picked up some tunnel entrances for the shed at the Warwick show got them painted, tie dies it up nicely.470BC564-8D74-4D40-9148-6030308566CF.jpegD337D057-D4CA-46F8-B53B-90584E74BE49.jpeg

Nice tidy setup and live the Pond (Lake). Hope there are no Herrons about. Casey recently lost all his Fish that had been around many years to one.
