Now that's something to live up to! (if only I could ....). Brilliant.More work today. I wanted to put a floor in . Eventually I want to add workbenches and tools and lights . 1/2 inch beams were cut and placed on the concrete slab then 3/4 inch wide strips of wood were glued down over the beams. I used a bogie to roll on the tracks to make sure the wood flooring wasn't to close to the rails . But I wanted the wood as close as possible to rails. What a life!No work on the engine house today. I have to do my real job today. Taking the boat I work on to fort Myers for coast guard inspection and hullout . 10 hour trip. Blaaaaaaaaaa. I shouldn't have stayed up so late playing with trains lol.View attachment 242016

Working on the lights that will hang in the engine house today. I'm using suction cups for the globe's. I did a thread on these lights . They seem to work well. They are clear so it takes a bunch of coats of paint so the light doesn't shine through. I start with several coats of black then I'm top coating them with green and white underneath to help reflect the light down. View attachment 242042
