Just thinking more about this (for my 00 line that I am putting servos on maybe) so I can hip hop 2 power wires to each sevo and only need 1 further wire to each point for the signal? Which is the control wire.

The Black (sometimes brown) is negative.
The Red is positive.
The White (sometimes orange) is the signal wire.

Found a little unit on line for about £4.00 that may help with servo points LINK It has a push button that you press once & the servo goes to a full throw, press again & it comes back. Turn the black knob & you control how far the throw is. This will also do 2 servos at the same time withy the same throw, which could be handy for track cross overs. For a remote switch you would have to solder two wires to the boards push button.

There is even a better alternative, but unfortunately there is a price rise. LINK TO SERVO SWITCH @ £I9:84 & was hoping for a Chinese version at 50p. But no luck.That looks like a better option than using a servo tester
