Other news from the LG&B; the luggage and parcels van on the Heritage Train has been painted to match the coaches, by adding a cream panel. I guess I need to find a paint with a little more of a yellow tinge to it, but first impressions are that it has definitely improved the look of this Toytrain van....

May Bank Holiday Monday, and the rain stopped for long enough to install a point motor on the crossover at Weybourne South Junction....

Most facing points on the LG&B are motored, and the one done today is to the left and below of this short Maintenance Train, and it is wired in tandem with its opposite point on the crossover....

Train shown on the new crossover, which is intended to allow trains onto the Quarry Branch, and by-pass the platform at Weybourne....

The Maintenance Train was formed with the Kof Loco and Matra Crane and Rail Cleaner Unit 4042 in the yard at Weybourne....

The other reason for this crossover is so trains can acees Weybourne Yard from the Quarry Branch as shown here by the Maintenance train....

The diversion can by done via the triangular Quarry Junction.

The junction is part of a continuous circuit on my layout, which is of an out and back arrangement.
