That's really good to see- proof to me that it can be done after a prolonged break in operation. Great motivation - and a great result.

Yep, super hard to lay level, but they do look nice and rustic. They are attached to the net, really easy to use!!!

It is known as a 'feather', and is used on colour-light signals to indicate the route set..

Yeah, as the others have said above, its a part of British Colour light signalling. Inherited from the cellar of Sheffield PSB when we shut down in May 2016.

Tidied the track work up today after finding a few pussy cat surprises in the soil. Cleared a few plants out, didn't realise some had gotten so big. Can't wait for the weather to get better, not much incentive to use the railway at the moment.
