The Woodlock Line

Once in awhile, I regret selling my LGB rail bus.

I love it. It's just easy to get out, and very rarely goes wrong...

Precisely. Mine never or I should say hardly ever gave me any issues. Like you say, just place it on the rails and let it go. No coupling up of a bunch of rolling stock that may or may not behave. I found it amazing, with its swiveling bogies how it negotiated the track, even if said track was not perfect.

Just a quick explanation. The observant ones will have noticed that I have changed the title of my thread to, The Woodlock Line. Over the last 11 years, I started with the intention of doing a logging type layout. But over the years, got a bit of German, US Mainline and other bits. So the original name was no longer relevant depending on what day it was, and what I wanted to run. Welcome to the Woodlock Line :)

Don't use bark chippings as the birds move it onto the track
I have crows that move small rocks, branches up to 1” diameter and figures on to the track, bark is the least of your worries

Great railway duncan1_9_8_4 duncan1_9_8_4 , it looks fantastic. I have just read through your thread from the start, in my spare time. I like how over the years you have slowly expanded and detailed it. Its a shame you lost the nice little pine tree beside the engine shed, it really added to the scene. Look forward to seeing more of the Woodlock Line when the weather warms up for you.
