Trams: Is There Much Tramway Interest On Here??

Oh so I feel that I must post a Tram Pic.

Tatra Service Car in Dresden December 2011 above.

They were still running Rush Hour Extras and may indeed still be doing so. I have had reports that they were doing these Extras since my visit, but that information will now be a Year or two out of date.

Nordhousen, the blue tram is an electro/diesel and runs along the Harz rails for about 10 miles between service trains on it diesel engine. The yellow one is electric only and runs about town.DSC05381 (Medium).JPG

So if you're not careful, you can get trollied, lose your trollies, but struggle to find a real trolley to take you home :devil::devil::devil::devil::devil::devil:

And if you don't have your trollies, you might not get on the trolley.....

.......and going a little further some colourful trains from Hong Kong:

The harbour ferries were interestingly painted too when we were there some years back. Think I was still using celluloid back then!

That steam outline road train is truly horrible!!
YMMV, of course..
Those things get everywhere. The one at the NRM York is missing a trick though. If they painted it in Green with German Type Smoke Deflectors, a well known Locomotive or Express Train Name and they could clean up!

What a good idea to put the ticket machine in the tram

Another tram pic copied across from Pic of the Day in the Coffee Lounge. Tram and trailer cross the main square in Soller, Mallorca, 22.6.2010.
