8| Cricky, if that lot fell off the wall in an earthquake, the insurance company would go broke. Don't have earthquakes, you say..... famous last words!

no LGB unfortunately....there isn't the space!

...but we do have a small cabinet with some OO in.
The wifes Wrenn 'City of Stoke on Trent'
a detailed BR large logo class 50
A Hornby Coronation 'Princess Alice' after my baby daughter
and a couple of Kyles tank engines....while he waits for me to build his new OO layout in his bedroom!

Now that is what I call stylish.:D
It may not be wall to wall Stainz but it is a wall of Stainz.

about that, would have to double check, as have got rid of a couple of duplicates and i think a couple i have are mearly parts donors, but certainly complete and functional 40+

well i cant say i actually display anything, other than im my part of our pbasement where SWMBO had provided me an 'area' for my stuff...and theres a lot , bless her lil ol cat o'nine tails heart....LOL

This one i really love-the paint scheme reminds me of my young boyhood train set.
And, as rule I dont like modern, nor standard gauge, nor diesels, nor US style huge as a rule in my LGB trains, but....
I've seen these on the US east coast when we would visit our son at college, and we'd ride the train in to NYC and id see them.
I simply love this LGB loco because of its presence and mass, almost opulant as far as a commercial plastic model train imho
and way cool lights at night, and its kinda 'rare', for real, LOL

Multiple scales and outside too. Pretty much gobsmacked by that photo!

For me I am only just starting to get a few Loco's in the collection but this one has pride of place at the moment (only because I am too lazy to go in the loft for another )

For me it's the first proper modelling I did in G-scale, my Frank S bash...

No shelf queen mind, she'd had a hard life before I re-worked it into a tank engine.
To be honest, very closely followed by the Lxd2 diesel I built last year, and I reckon my LGB/Liliput Kof bash that is nearly finished will also be a favourite.

Same here (the Hornby one)! Sadly the poor thing could hardly pull itself round the track when I steamed it, but it does make a splendid shelf queen. One day I might get a round to trying to sort it out.

It's mainly small scale stuff on display in my cabinet (Z, N, HO etc.) and including a couple of mint Triang TT sets bought whilst on honeymoon (got SWMBO accustomed to toy trains early on!)

SNCF Mikado for two reasons . We saw one at Herr Grunds in 2006 an was told I couldn't have one because it was nearly a thousand quid .!
The second reason this one only cost me £368.000 from a guy in San Diego. Took six weeks to arrive but worth it.

Will you kindly stop flaunting that loco....:'(:'(:'(:'(

An early green Mamod and (it surprises me too but please don't tell Zman &: ) Flying Scotsman and B17 Newcastle United solid coal/resin 00 Scale plinth mounted models.

One loco sits proudly on the radiator cabinet in our dining room and that is this old Accucraft brass and steel K27. She is an elderly lady and has a little outing now and again. She has a Soundtraxx Sierra sound system with a large big magnet speaker. This gives her a very fine voice indeed.
