I don't really do model people. They're expensive and fade outdoors. But, this coach certainly benefits from some people, and beers.....PXL_20231227_145752028.jpgPXL_20231227_145802910.MP~2.jpg

The stock cupboard got a tidy out the other day, after a year of putting stuff back in it, but not in it's proper place. Next coaches to be phased out will be the 3 Bachmann White Pass coaches, that don't really fit with my railway anymore, and getting rid will create room for other stock in the future.PXL_20231227_150620643.MP~2.jpg

Let's see what 2024 brings the garden railway... Nothing today, as I was on nights last night, on the real railway. :)

A little investment into the operation side of my railway today, from PS in York. I've been waiting a long time for this gadget, it should be loads better than having to use my smart phone as a controller out and about the railway.

Test day. Not going to do a review, because I can't be bothered. But, if anyone is not sure whether to get one or not, do it. It's a brilliant bit of kit. The level of control with regard speed is amazing. Something a smart phone simply cannot do.

Plus you can watch your train rather than having your head in an iPhone or iPod or other type of device.

Totally agree. Best bit of kit for ages.

Lovely locomotive. It still doesn't 'feel' as good quality as a LGB offering, despite it's price. A welcome addition nonetheless.PXL_20240207_122537532.jpg

Funnily enough, we had a presentation about NOHAB diesels at European Railway Club last night so I now know it is an MY class as opposed to an MX. The talk was done by my Swedish friend Kjell....

After 10 years, my fire watch tower by Piko collapsed. The plastic had become brittle over time, so for now, no building. Might keep the area as a rockery now.

Also been to the garden centre for 2 new grasses where 2 had died. Looking forward to getting the fence painted and garden sorted properly.PXL_20240212_102820674.jpgPXL_20240212_102828442.jpg

The embankment that has resulted in ballast loss for 10 years, has gone. Where the ballast goes, who knows..... Just need to tidy up the wire to N°8 points.PXL_20240224_172439606.jpgPXL_20240224_172442384.jpgPXL_20240224_172445478.jpgPXL_20240224_172830677.jpgPXL_20240224_172838150.MP.jpgPXL_20240224_173026413.jpgPXL_20240224_173029257.jpg

Never to be seen together. But when the same livery, you've got to have a photo shoot.... Excuse the fence, it's getting painted next week. Excuse the grass, it'll be tidy soon.PXL_20240225_153316283.jpgPXL_20240225_153136538.jpgPXL_20240225_152702619.jpgPXL_20240225_150744320.jpgPXL_20240225_150735626.jpgPXL_20240225_145730056.MP.jpgPXL_20240225_145537039.jpgPXL_20240225_145126494.jpgPXL_20240225_145116799.jpgPXL_20240225_145526869.jpg
